Our instructional year runs for 10 months from August to May. During that time, our students receive 37 weeks of classes and four ‘break’ weeks which are synchronized to the Lake County public schools calendar.
Pricing
Our monthly tuition rates are based on hours of class time per week. There is a registration fee of $25 non-refundable and a costume fee for our annual recital which is $65 for child size and $75 for adult size costumes per class (costume price subject to change once ordered).
A multi-dancer family discount is available
Registration fee and August tuition is to be paid at time of registration. Tuition is due monthly and is to be paid at a student’s first lesson of each month. A late fee of $10 will be charged if tuition is not paid by the 15th of each month. Costume fees are payable in full or in 3 monthly installments beginning in October. All costume fees are to be paid in full before Winter break in December.

We encourage students to register as early as possible although we accept new (beginning) students through the end of October, and will consider others based on experience until Winter break.

What to Wear
A dress code ensures that a teacher will be able to see a dancer’s alignment and positioning. A dress code will also teach students discipline, helping with overall focus and energy. By “dressing the part,” dancers feel like dancers. Dress codes can also create unity among the dancers instead of causing a few dancers to stand out much like a school uniform policy. Dress codes go a long way in minimizing distractions, and help give classes a unified look.
Proper dance attire is expected of all students. Students should arrive on time, dressed properly, and ready to participate in class. We recommend Dance N Stuff in Ocala and Discount Dance Supply online (www.discountdance.com). Students’ names should be clearly written on all their dance attire. Unless specifically modified by one of our teachers or noted below, these rules apply to ALL classes taught at our studio:
* Street shoes are not permitted on the dance floors!
* Students are not permitted to wear jewelry in class.
* Students must wear cover-ups over their dance wear when entering and leaving the studio. Dance shoes should not be worn outside the studio.
* Girls must wear their hair in a bun unless noted below.
* Sports bras control a dancer’s silhouette as well as prevent both discomfort and injury. Underwear is not permitted under leotards or costumes, tights serve that purpose. If a leotard does not completely cover a bra, the bra must be the same color as the leotard.
* School attire is in no way acceptable in class. Absolutely NO shorts or bare-midriff/cutoff shirts!

(Girls) Pink leotard w/skirt, pink footed tights, pink ballet slippers.
(Boys) White t-shirt, black stretch pants, black ballet slippers.
Combo Kids 1:
(Girls) Purple leotard w/skirt, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and black patent leather tap shoes.

Combo Kids 2:

In addition to ballet attire girls should wear a student-length, black chiffon, wrap skirt. Miss Sally will assist her students in choosing and fitting appropriate pointe shoes.
Hip-Hop:
(Girls) Black leotard, black jazz pants, tan tights. Hair in ponytail. black hip-hop sneakers.
(Boys) White t-shirt, black stretch pants, black hip-hop sneakers.
Jazz:
(Girls) Any color leotard, black jazz pants or capri. Tan jazz shoes. Hair in ponytail.
(Boys) White t-shirt, black stretch pants. Tan jazz shoes.
Tap:
(Girls) Any color leotard, black jazz pants or capri, black lace tap shoes.
(Boys) White t-shirt, black stretch pants, black lace tap shoes.
Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theater:
Black leotard, tan tights, black jazz pants or capri. Jazz shoes, tan toe-kini, or barefoot.
