Greetings to all,
Welcome to Leesburg Dance Centre’s 30th Anniversary of excellence in dance! We hope you are enjoying your classes as much as we are!
Miss Sally did not stop dancing! She taught her annual week-long Ballet Intensive at Dance Academy of Santa Rosa and taught at In His Steps where she was also a judge for their company auditions. She was the choreographer for the ensemble of Singin’ in the Rain for the Sonnentag Theatre at the Ice House. Soon she will begin choreography for A Storybook Christmas at the Melon Patch Theatre.
Miss Brooke, Kaylin Atkinson and Emma Isom auditioned for Joffrey’s Summer Intensives. All three of them were accepted to many different styles of intensives across the globe. Emma chose to go to the Jazz and Contemporary intensive that was held in Miami in July. Kaylin and Miss Brooke chose to go to the Hip Hop intensive that was held in New York in June and the Jazz and Contemporary intensive that was held in Las Vegas in July. Several of our dancers and teachers attended the Titans of Dance convention in Orlando on September 25th to learn from some of the most renowned teachers in the dance industry. Those attendees were Makenna King, Lily Mauriell, Samantha Albota, Kaylin Atkinson, Emma Isom, Alexa Castillo, Miss Caitlyn, Ms. Valerie, Miss Brooke, and Ms. Nicole.
The week of October 24th through 27th dancers are allowed to wear their Halloween costumes to class.
Dates for the 2023 Recital will be announced soon.
A quick reminder, if you or your child needs to use the restrooms during a class, please wait for the teacher to pause music or instruction before entering. Please walk behind the dancers to the restroom if possible. Thank you.

We try our best to communicate with you and your students during class, but we also use Facebook and email for most of our important communications. Please check these sources often for important news from us. For all the latest information concerning Leesburg Dance Centre, please refer to our website, www.leesburgdancecentre.com or like our Facebook page. Please call us if your dancer will not be in class.
To better handle situations where we need to contact in case of canceled classes, please update your cell provider information in the Parent Portal or send us an email. To access the portal, go to our website, www.leesburgdancecentre.com and click the link then use your email and password to log in. If you have not accessed the portal yet, please contact the studio for a password. Currently, we do not accept payments online. You may click on “Make a Payment” under Student Menu to view any open or paid invoices on your account. To enroll in classes, please contact the dance studio directly. Feel free to explore your Parent Portal pages.
Please remember tuition is due before the 15th of each month to avoid a late fee of $10. Costume deposits are due the first of October, November, and December. All costumes should be paid in full by Winter break. Please refer to our website for costume pricing. Shoes and tights are not included in costume pricing. We will begin measuring students for recital costumes on Monday, November 28th continuing through Thursday, December 1st. Students will be measured during class by their instructors. The costumes chosen for each class (aka: the Costume book) will be available to view after the Winter Holiday break.
This year Leesburg Dance Centre will be participating in the Leesburg Christmas parade on Saturday, December 3rd. More info to follow.
Leesburg Dance Centre is proud to sponsor Toys for Tots. Watch for the box near the end of this month to donate toys for children in need. Donations accepted through December 6, 2022.
The studio will be closed on Monday, November 21st through Friday, November 25th for the Thanksgiving holiday, classes resume Monday, November 28th; also closed Monday, December 19th through Monday, January 2nd for the Winter holiday, classes will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. We will also be closed Monday, January 16th for Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.
